Our story

Adrienne's been remote for 10 years, a consultant for 18, and a remote department head for 10.

She lives in Colorado with two Catahoulas and over 100 plants.

Adrienne brings the employer and manager perspective; she's created policies, developed big remote teams, and recruited hundreds of people.

Good management means happy employees, and happy employees do better work. She'll teach you how to do it remotely.

After 17 years of working with over 10 startups, I’ve learned a few things, and some the hard way.

From consulting full-time in digital marketing from 2010-2012, I knew I could handle a remote work environment. I asked my boss to go remote in 2014 and never looked back.

It just made sense: there are talented people all over the world and we are already doing internet work as a tech company. There's no reason why we can't handle a remote work program.

Since then, I’ve built over 25 remote teams in editorial, publishing, marketing, paid media, news, video, branded content, analytics, PR, and compliance.

Over many years and companies, no matter what tool we were building, our focus was to attract and retain amazing, talented employees who want to build something great.

We documented processes and steps, knowing that we’d need procedures that could be followed by anyone. We interviewed hundreds of people, wrote hundreds of job ads, reviewed hundreds of trials and made offers, onboarded employees, and trained trainers.

We strive to build ego-less teams that thrive in remote work environments. After a decade and a half of learning what teams need to make remote work "work", we're here to share it with you!
