Write for Been Remote

Have you been remote and know a thing or two about that WFH or digital nomad life? We want to feature your experience and expertise. Reach out to us and let us know your specialty, website, and topic idea.

• We only accept authors who can commit to writing three pieces to build authorship.

• You get: a byline with photo and bio, plus two relevant links to outside websites. Often, authors who want to build their bylines or backlinks find that this is worth it.

• Don’t need a backlink? We pay $100 per article, or $150 if you link back to it from your website or another publication.

• Content must cover a totally unique topic that helps solve a reader problem, without using AI. They don’t have to be long; 600+ words is fine.

Topic examples:

• A product review of something you used, and loved or hated enough to talk about it. Or not – you could just be whelmed, that’s okay too!

• Your WFH office setup and why it works for your role

• Advice on a specific remote work question

• Leadership advice

• Shareable templates (think: Notion policy templates, google sheets to-do lists)

• Policies you’ve created for specific situations in your remote work

• What it’s like to work remotely for your company
