According to PCMag, the best all-in-one home printer for most users is the Brother MFC-J4335DW, and the best ink tank printer for home is the Canon Maxify GX5020.

1. The Brother MFC-J4335DW doesn't take much desk space and has duplex printing, faxing, and a 20-page automatic document feeder.

2. The Canon Maxify GX5020 printer is affordable and will save you ink costs. It also supports mobile devices and duplex printing.

After hours of rigorous testing, Forbes said that in 2024, the best home-office printer overall is the HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e, and the best value home printer is the HP Deskjet 4155e.

3. The HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e can quickly print, scan, copy, and fax. It’s a tremendous do-it-all package that should be able to handle all of your home and home office printer needs, from copying permission slips to printing family photos.

4. Forbes likes the HP Deskjet 4155e due to its inexpensive and compact features, that include an ADF.

Techradar says the superfast laser printer is the Lexmark MB3442adw and the smallest home printer for 2024 is the Canon PIXMA G3270.
